Landed

A fairly unevetful flight with the Orange Airline company. They put us in the middle of the plane which took off went up, went along for a bit and then came down a couple of hours later. The train took nearly half an hour to taxi to its parking spot after landing. We were convinced that our pilot was either lost or going to try to deliver us direct to our hotel in the plane. 

After collecting our luggage I took a couple of photos for the blog. A couple seconds a little a rather irate policeman came up to me and demanded to see my pictures. As his left leg was on one of them, I had to delete the whole series. We were then shepherded to a very nice coach to be taken to put hotel.  

We presume that we are in Madrid but it is dark and there are few signs.

Just checked google maps ... We're the blue dot to the North of Madrid. This is good!

Billy has reliably informed the bus that his dad designed the building on the far right of the skyscrapers that we can just make out through the window. Everyone is suitably impressed ... A chorus from 'the little mermaid' has just begun. Such fun!

We've arrived and OMG(osh!) what a hotel! There is a gala dinner for 300 in the main dining room so we are here ....
